I was greeted as a new client warmly and happily upon walking in to the business. I had a day of being at 2 prior businesses and being treated rudely and nasty so it was refreshing! They and their groomer, Veronica went out of their way to accommodate my dogs for a groom that afternoon being completely last minute and usually impossible for same day. However they made it happen and were happy to do it! It was refreshing to experience great customer service again as I think it’s a dying thing these days! Veronica was an amazing groomer, so kind, gentle and patient in her approach to my dogs. I highly recommend not only for grooming but for the vet, we will be switching vets and seeing them for all our cares!

I was worried my 10 year old dog couldn’t last another day. The staff at VCA were able to see me within two hours of my call. From a retired physician’s perspective, they are top notch in their field. Unlike other veterinarians we’d seen, they diagnosed coexisting, and treatable, heart failure and asthma. My dog is running around like a puppy now. I’m glad this crew is in Sandpoint!

Where do I start!? I ended up fostering a family members 12 year old dog who had a massive hematoma on his ear. It was a 25 hour drive back home and the minute we arrived, I called everywhere asking who could get him in the soonest. I initially spoke with Regina who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to do anything she could to help this poor pup. She got him in right away and the vet performed their procedure, giving our foster boy immediate relief. He is still healing, but since then, we have had nothing but amazing experiences with literally every single one of their staff members. They are all extremely friendly and diligent with their practice. You can truly tell that this is a special place the moment you walk through the door. This place is clearly about the well being of the animals and not just about a pay check. I highly recommend this establishment.

I have a ball python whom I brought in, because he was sick. The vet that assisted me, I don't remember his name, was very nice and polite and answered a lot of my questions. He diagnosed my snake with some sort of infection, but he wasn't sure(he didn't want to take xrays, or blood tests unless my snake was in critical condition, which he was close to it) and he gave me some oral antibiotic treatment, which didn't seem to help. but I ended up taking my snake to another vet, in Spokane who diagnosed my snake with an upper respiratory infection, after taking blood tests and xrays, and provided the correct antibiotics. I do appreciate the north Idaho animal hospital being very patient with me, and being so nice!
