Friendly service and a good variety of bait. A good variety of tackle.

Haven't fished there but bought bait there. The minnows were so small we could barely get the hook in also bought crickets by the time we got to the lake about 15 min. away half of them were dead. They too were very small.

Paid 10$ a person to go fish here, was there 2 and a half hours and didn’t catch anything but sticks and moss. No bites, nothing. Nobody else around us caught anything either. Not worth wasting your time or money.

*The Bait shop is fine.* <<<—- Only takes cash. — The low ratings are for the optional lake fishing, and some people even like that. There is a Very small lake / pond ; And you can pay to fish here. Okay for a “starter” teaching children how to fish, but sometimes never catch anything. Doesn’t feel like a real lake. — I think it depends what you’re used to, because Some people are rating high and satisfied, but I wouldn’t drive far to come here ((for the lake)) ... ( I would be disappointed. ) There are little stands you rent, to fish around the lake. You can get good bait here though, and try it out, if unsatisfied buy bait and fish somewhere else. If you’re close by anyway, then sure, give it a shot. It might scratch your “I want to go fishing “ itch. Probably a convenient place to teach kids to fish, but be aware that they charge $10. Per person, plus the bait. So if you have a lot of kids, it’s an expensive way to fish, and not a pretty setting. I would describe it as “plain”. If that doesn’t matter to you, then you probably won’t even notice it. ————. So it depends what you’re looking for. Very nice people in the bait store. Cash only, so bring cash.
