Positive: It's very clean, quiet, amd comfortable. I am a travel nurse, and have to stay in town one day a week to cover call. This is my go to place to stay. I have NEVER had a bad experience here.

Go to another hotel. Rooms are small, bathrooms so small door can not be closed. Filthy rooms, hair and dust built up along all borders of all walls. Sheets and blanket clearly dirty. Staff more concerned with conversing amongst themselves. Pool are needs needs serious cleaning from top to bottom. Breakfast was horrible. Breakfast/lobby area visibly dirty. Small parking lot. Shuttle is joke just call a cab or uber.

Absolutely chuffed by my experience. I travel a LOT for work and this was the most diligent and friendly service that I have seen in months. Very kind and responsive from when I checked in late at night with Haley to when I had breakfast that was constantly checked and kept warm and fresh by Jackie (who was also very polite and nice!), and finally when I checked out with Robert. Room was clean, no weird smells or stranger's hair anywhere. Thumbs up!

This Fairfield is in a good location in Lexington, although its designation "Keeneland/Airport" is a bit misleading as it is some distance from both. The price was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The room itself was quite clean but the bathroom needed more attention than it had been getting. Sinks, countertops and toilet were immaculate but the shower curtain had quite a bit of mildew along the edge and the bottom of the tub was grimy. In fairness, the high limestone content of Lexington's water system can lead to gray deposits, but there are plenty of readily available products that remove lime deposits quickly and easily. Overall, it was an excellent value and I would recommend it as such. However, I miss the daily maid service that until recently was standard in virtually every hotel in the nation. Having the beds made and the soap and shampoo refilled every day was a way to display that customers are valued. This new policy, well, not so much.
