Very helpful! They were swamped last year with Covid and new employees. The lines are shorter now. They do a fantastic job and much better than a lot of other places. If you have some problems with your documentation they will help you get on the right track. Yes, you may have to come back but at least you will have a direction to go. Keep up the great work!

Pretty different than being in a larger metro area. Fun seeing folks that rarely leave the woods trying to navigate the world of state governance. Expect a good 2 hour visit. If you're getting new plates, park in the back. It'll get you points with the overworked staff and get you through a little quicker

Went here as a new state resident to transfer my vehicle to Idaho. It was a long wait, about 2 hours, but once it was your turn it was very quick. The employees were very friendly. It would be a 5 start if the wait wasn't so long.

sat there for 4 hours for them to tell me that my document (on an email) was invalid and they needed the original to be faxed to them... amoungst about a dozen other things. archaic and slow. the epitome of all the worst things about a dmv.

You should report the loss to the police department. Cancel any credit or debit cards. You will have go to the department of licensing to replace your ID.
If you already have current registration in Idaho on any vehicle you can go online and renew
Unfortunately at this time we do not. Its Fist come first served
The title, no unfortunately not.
Both Priest River and Ponderay DMV's are closed Friday 10/15/2021. Hopefully we will have enough clerks that are well to open the Ponderay office on Monday 10/18/2021. You can call Bonners Ferry DMV at 208 267-7613 if you have questions or need a title right away. Local law enforcement is aware of the current situation. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are working diligently to be able to open both locations as quickly as possible. Be aware that there could be short staff next week until everyone can return healthy.
Are you needing renewals? Yes they can be done by mail, internet or in person.
If you don’t have property, you can get on at the accessors office for 185.00$ per year
Yes, But please be advised we have longer then normal lines, and take the last customer at 4:45. Looking at a few hour wait.
Drivers License is located at 4105 N Boyer Rd, Sandpoint, ID 83864
I would call them or Parks and Rec, here's a link https://bonnerso.org/marine/boater-registration-regulations/
When to Renew Your ID Driver's License. In Idaho, you can renew your driver's license with the DMV as earlyas 25 months before it expires. When you renew, you have the choice between renewing it for 4 years or 8 years. To be eligible for 8 years, youmust be 21 to 62 years old. (According to DMV.org)
VIN inspections in Idaho can be done at DMV offices, or by calling local law enforcement. It is a seperate form, (with a seperate small fee at many locations), that can be filed out and taken to any DMV office to complete a title transfer. The top of the VIN inspection sheet (form ITD3404) reads "This form must be filled out by a law enforcement officer or an authorized agent of the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) directly from the vehicle without the use of other documentation." A VIN inspection must be completed before an Idaho Title can be issued. Hope that helps, -Charlie
Yes. They do. I believe that they have a surcharge for it though
On your vehicles? Yes, you can.
