I was married here in January 1964 a young bride at age 21 to be the wife of a San Francisco police officer. This February 2021 we have grown from 3 sons, to 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a 5th In September. This was the beginning of a lot of love from two hearts 💕 to many.

We were married at Swedenborgian almost two years ago and had a wonderful experience. The historic church is naturally beautiful and the candles and lit fireplace during the ceremony made it feel magical and intimate. Reverend Lee married us and we are so grateful for the time he took to counsel us before the wedding. He made us feel comfortable during the entire process and the ceremony he performed was very moving. The parish house and garden were the perfect space for our 50 person reception. We still feel so lucky we happened upon Swedenborgian Church while planning our wedding!

Had heard about the architecture (American Craftsman) and my parents were married there in 1931, so made a visit recently with two friends and this is a very beautiful structure. The tree trunk roof beams are wonderful and you can tell it is a church of love. The garden is lovely too.
