This building has served so many various functions over the decades since it was built. Back when it was a new plain block youth center, I painted an eight-foot baseball on one exterior wall and a thirty-five - foot baseball bat. Anyway, I'm so glad that it is still serving the community in multiple ways... currently home to Chelan Valley Hope and Lake Chelan Food Bank .. both help people and their families get through gaps in more fortunate times. Because I know some folks who've been helped by them that may not be comfortable publicly writing a review, I'll do it. And after all, for a short while after experiencing a stroke that financially devastated me and I was unemployable for several months, I was thankful for their assistance too. ;)
