I was introduced to this beautiful place by a friend, last year, I enjoyed the place so much that I just got home from there again this year 2019 I love the creek that runs through the camp, the roads to go hiking driving or biking even horseback riding and the best of all that everyone out there looks very happy doing whatever they are doing definitely my favorite place to go camping with my family and friends over and over

Beautiful camping spot besides the terrible unusable bathrooms we made the mistake to camp a cross from one an ended up ending our weekend a day early because it smelled so terrible an the flies were unbarring

Beautiful campground, spent many summers here as a kid and have so many good memories! Some may complain about dirt bikes but this is one of the only state parks that allow dirt bike riding anymore so its a tradition for many people. There are beautiful dirt bike trails that take you all over. Definitely reccomend if your family rides!

We were harassed by a guy who got mad at us because we asked nicely if his son would not use the campground for trail riding. It's noisy and kicks up dust into your campground. This guy then got even and rode the bike in front of our campground to teach us a lesson. We were so threatened we had to pack up and leave. We called the sheriff who met us outside the campground. They apologized and hoped we would come back to support their community again. They went to go find and talk to this guy. Our family has camped up at Birdcreek for over 25 years, but we can't anymore because on weekends, it's taken over by folks who let their kids ride ATVs in the campground.
