We only used the main mineral pool, which was a bit overpriced. The water is very warm, with no other pool with cooler water. Be prepared to feel as though you are in a very warm bath. We went on a Saturday, mid-day, and it was very crowded. Being that there were so many people there, our kids were unable to swim around. The tropical foliage is absolutely beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere. I imagine it would be lovely if it wasn't so crowded. The employees were friendly and helpful. They do have vending machines with drinks and snacks, but you are unable to eat in the pool area, so keep that in mind. The vending machines were also a bit pricey, so would recommend bringing a bottle of water with you. Overall, it was a nice experience.

The entrance is welcoming and charming. The front desk team was very nice and helpful. The locker rooms were clean. We would have liked a bit more privacy. When we went inside the hot spring area we were blown away by the beautiful assortment of plants. It felt tropical. The temperature of the pool was perfect for all ages in our group (9-40) . A lovely place to visit.

We were staying in Denver and drove out for a hike and did this after. I did the cave pools and a friend did the larger pool. The cave pools are gender specific and clothing optional. A lot of people on the women's side choose that option. There are 4 or 5 cave pools that are 'sectioned off' into bays for individual use (obviously open but if it's busy you may get a neighbor). A couple of the areas have tiled benches to sit/lay if being in the water is too much. When you first walk in to the area the lockers are in a room to the left. The bathroom is a little further to the right and opens to a lounging area. From there you can go to the showers or the cave pools. A lot of people move between the cave pools and the cooler lounging area. The larger pool is reportedly not a hot and has a variety of temperatures to explore. Clothing is required and the larger pool is family friendly - children are welcome

My husband and I got massages and spent time in the hot springs for our honeymoon. We loved our experience! The massage therapists were professional and did a great job. The hot springs felt amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Plus, the price was super affordable and totally worth it. A hidden gem in the mountains. I want to come back soon!

Yes a one day pass is available. You get a wristband so you can come and go. I have never had any issues with the staff. They have been courteous and informative.

It's a natural spring with lots of natural elements. Check out their website to see a whole list. As for any smell, there is none.
Yes
You can walk in but chances are they won't let you have access to pool. They have a little gifts shop that im sure you can go to at anytime. You'll have to make a reservation to go to the pool!
It is a pet friendly place as far as the rooms go but pets are not alowed in the resort itself.
Children can go yes they're open I was there recently
As a adult this place is great. For kid recreation the Idaho Springs rec center may be more fun, with a little water park (2 slides) and splash pool. They do have a hot tub also, it's a great stop after skiing.
