We had a really good experience with Winnisquam Marine renting a large pontoon boat for a family visit. They have a monopoly on Winnisquam. This is reflected in the prices, which seemed pretty steep to be honest when we secured the rental. However, unlike other places we’ve rented from that give you a heap of junk that’s liable to break down, the boat we got at Winnisquam was almost brand new and was definitely a more luxury model. The boat was sparkling clean with comfy leather seats, a fold down bed, tons of storage, some sick lights, and movable cup holders. The check in/out process was quick and easy each time, and navigating out of their marina area was also a lot easier than other marinas we’ve been to. The location of Winnisquam Marine is also awesome, right near the sand bar and the Winnisquam Country Store where you can anchor and hop off the boat for ice, sandwiches, and other boat day essentials. Overall, the rental was worth the price here and we’d go back for future rental needs.

The people who work here were great in helping us rent a boat for the day. The folks up in the front were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had and taking us through and showing us everything. I really appreciate everyone’s help there and had a great experience. I recommend this for anyone who wants to rent a boat for the day. The sandbar is really close, if you don’t have a boating license and don’t care to get one, this is the perfect option for you. You can take a little ride around the lake and then hang out at the sandbar so the kids can play in it.
