Love this place. We live in RI, every time we go to Maine we bring a cooler and come home with lots of the maple bourbon marinated steak tips and double smoked maple sugar bacon. Both are always a hit at family gatherings. Just call a few days ahead and place our order and it's ready and waiting for us. Wish we lived closer!

They have the best Curry chicken salad sandwiches in the world! They also have people that know the beer they carry and can help you pick your new favorite. So far I've had about 10 favorites! Good selection! Also good takeout that you can heat up in a few minutes, and next to a fruit and vegetable market that has the best and most interesting things like garlic scapes, beet greens and Lion's mane mushrooms!

This place no matter what holds a special place for me. My mom was in charge of the kitchen over 25 years ago she did some amazing food that was the best place ever to get a cheeseburger not only because my mom cooked it but their meats were amazing. It's nice to see the legacy of Carl's meat market still running strong.
