As a chef with 8 years experience in the kitchen and 4 years of cooking Italian food I’m very disappointed. Stuffed mushrooms were pretty good but that’s about it. Arancini very overcooked with no flavor. Chopped salad was not bad, a little bit to sour vinaigrette. From main dishes I had lasagna that was dry, with zero flavor and too much cheese. My wife had a stuffed chicken with completely overcooked risotto that look more like a babies food. Definitely not coming back

This was our first time coming to Mattone. They were able to take our reservation for 8 people on really short notice which was so great because everywhere else was booked. With our busy day I didn't even think about having to make reservations anywhere. The food was delicious. The only thing I would've done differently is asked for my shrimp pesto with no tomatoes. They were very large chunks, but that's just personal preference. Both of my children got the pizza on the kids menu which was surprisingly the size of a medium pizza. We definitely took plenty of pizza back home. Our waitress was great and everything was overall a great experience. I would definitely come back.

Been a neighborhood favorite for 20+ years but it’s been on a decline for awhile even preCOVID attached photo is of a bun for a chicken sandwich that they couldn’t even redo and make another one. Shame

Food was great! We enjoyed it! The burger was delicious. Actually everything that we ordered was delicious. We will come back!
