If it looks like a shelter, SMELLS like a shelter, it’s a shelter. Owner rents rooms to Portland and SouthPortland to house their homeless. Beware they will take anything not bolted down. Just ask surrounding merchants. Hotel owners ruining area

I already stated my thoughts. No security. Too many people seemingly to be homeless people milling around in and out of hotel who leave there trash laying around outside. Bugs found in rooms. Not a safe place to stay for the money that was paid. Though I used points for our room, I now lost them when I would have not stayed there if I knew the condition of the rooms and hotel. The hair dryer in the room sparked when attempting to use. Didn’t use it. No safety precautions in the tub. Very slippery. No handle bars. No visible license in the elevator. Did not present itself as a clean and sanitary hotel. Very very disappointed in choice hotel for presenting this hotel as an example of your quality. Will definitely think twice before choosing Choice for my next hotel stay.

Sketchy people around out side of hotel and they were also roaming inside. I am fairly certain they were not staying here. The back door was held open with a 5 gallon paint bucket. Not safe. Most of the lobby was full of tv boxes and was a mess. I guess they are renovating but they should have closed if you can’t pick things up. Shower drained very slowly so you were in a puddle. Elevator did not have permit in case. No trash can in room, also the lobby smelled terrible. We had the two full bed rooms and there were only two towels in each room. We had three people and registered that with the reservation.The literal only plus was the staff at the desk was polite. I know Portland is expensive but this place was highway robbery for what we were charged.

I read some reviews and people said the rooms were small. I would say they remind me of the rooms in the big city hotel's, smaller but with everything you need for your stay. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable along with a microwave and fridge along with a extra large flat screen tv too boot! I will definitely be staying here again when in the Portland area!
