100% recommend this cab company. Having not been able to find an option with ride shares outside PWM jetport, we hopped in a good old fashion cab. Very good rates, quick ride right to our destination… everything one comes to expect. What I did not expect however, was our experience hours after our ride. We lost a wallet somewhere along the way. We made a ‘shot in the dark’ call to National Cab, got through to dispatch and with very little info from my end, they identified the driver who looked for and found the wallet in the van- and they brought it to our motel which was a different location than where they dropped us in the first place! This was a long shot, but they went completely above and beyond great service! This company knows the drivers they work with, is empathetic to weary travelers’ ordeals, and are clearly an honest, good team. They saved a lot of hassle that accompanies losing something that important while traveling.

this is the best taxi service in portland. hands down. i called them when american airlines delayed my flight bt 7 hours bc of a broken plane. i called national at 11:30 pm and requested a pick up at portland airport at 1 am and they assured me a driver would be there. then my flight got delayed again, and i called back and they agreed to wait me! and then i was still delayed coming out of the terminal until 2:15 am bc American Airlines sucks. Abdulahi Ukash, my driver, WAITED PATIENTLY FOR ME! He basically was "on call" and waiting outside of baggage claim from 1:30 am to 2:15 am and dealing with delay after delay, but never wavered and waited for me so i wouldnt be stranded. He was kind and pleasant despite the delay and even though i was his last drive for the night! I will always call National Cab Maine bf even trying to get an uber. they are completely professional, kind, and decent people. he made my night and i couldn't be more grateful!

Great service provided after a long day of traveling. Company communication was prompt and driver showed up , waiting till the early hours of the morning for our delayed flight Can’t thank him enough for the 1:30 am ride home.
