The trailhead is wide open with plenty of parking spots. The Loon Echo Land Trust obviously puts lots of time and effort into making sure you start out on the right path.

We park the car in one stop and had someone park in the down location. This made the trip awesome. Not sure if everyone can do that. You can also bike between locations.

Yes. Supposed to be on leash. Not everyone does though. On a busy day there are more dogs on the summit than people!
I wouldn't recommend it for mountain biking.
It's open, but still pretty icy toward the top. The end of Bald Peak Trail became very treacherous without any specialized gear
