Wow! One of my most favorite dinner spots! Extremely generous portions for the price. Food is AMAZING! beef ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, fish and chips, famous apple strudel dessert that takes ten minutes to prepare. This is a pine lodge and tap. Great place for families or couples. Anyone! Highly recommend. Pricey but totally worth it!

Very good burgers! You get the option to have it cooked your way (highly recommend medium rare for an extra juicy burger). Brioche bun is very soft, and the option to add raw, grilled, or crispy onions is very complimentary. Side of a baked potato, you can't go wrong there. I just truly enjoyed this meal. $17.29 for the whole thing is pretty worth it.

A throwback to a simpler time of having big dinners with family and/or friends, L. Woods continues to serve heaping helpings of delectable deliciousness. My last second decision of whether to enjoy their skirt steak or baby back ribs had no wrong answer. I went with the ribs which were fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy. My dinner companion relished each bite of her BBQ brisket and perfectly seasoned fries that gave my baked potato a run for its money in yum too. Making a reservation led to no waiting on the busy Friday night, and a great server had us forgetting how full it was.

A great BBQ restaurant that has a nice pine lodge/ log cabin exterior and a warm and inviting interior that is full with guests every day of the week. This busy restaurant's walls are plastered with photos of notable guests, friends and families who have visited this sprawling restaurant in Lincolnwood, IL. The menu features great homey bbq and American fare and even has Halal options for more traditional Muslims such as the brisket sandwich and the Creekstone beef ribs. Everything here is delicious but the 12 hour smoked brisket is a must try. It comes with corn bread, bbq beans and coleslaw. They also make really good fried calamari, which Im always down to eat at any restaurant. The service here is great but a few mishaps at times due to how busy it gets and the atmosphere is lively. They do seat people very close to each other so if thats a concern for you, please be aware. *I started eating my food when i took these pictures

Sima (aka Mama, as her name tag read) was an employee that worked with the company for 35+years. She hosted up until her passing on Christmas Eve 2019 at 93? Years young... She was adored by all who knew her, a beautiful woman inside and out. L.Woods was not just her place of employment, it was her family and friends. She is missed terribly and no one will ever replace Mama!
