This place is pretty cool. It's in the middle of a hop field . They have a good selection of beer and they always have food trucks. I like it. Come check it out for yourself if you're in the area.

This brewery had BEAUTIFUL grounds and a gorgeous setup inside & out. However, we attempted calling three times prior to driving out there for food and drinks. They didn’t answer any of the calls so we hoped for the best and drove 20 minutes out there. Upon arrival, we realized they were empty and after talking to the guys behind the bar, they let us know that because it was “dead slow” the food truck left. If it was so slow, they couldn’t bother to answer the phone to save us the gas/time? The only reason they get 2 stars is because despite ignoring their phone, the guy working was nice. Would have been nice if they answered their phones though.

Really friendly staff and a good selection of beers. Food truck is on site for bites. Will be back whenever we visit Yakima.

The best India Pale Ales made in Washington state? Quite possibly. The brewery is - let's be generous - off the beaten path, but if you're anywhere near it, and enjoy hops, put it on your short list. I found friendly service, cool yet tempting surroundings, and exquisite American-hopped fresh ales, with a tendency towards balance and drinkability. The value at Bale Breaker is superb. Much to love here for the hop-head & the real killer deal for beer in Yakima when your partner, who've you been dragging around all day, tires of wine. Do it for them.
