This was the first time here and I will never come back. This place is filthy filthy. Restrooms are terrible. I ordered Veal Marsala gluten free. 12 minutes later she tells they are out of gluten free pasta. Really, very disappointing. We did not physically and verbally abuse your waitress. I even apologized to her and gave her a very nice tip whereas my husband had his meal to go!!

I had never heard of this place before and was so excited to try some authentic Italian food that was near me! I ordered take out, and decided to go with a basic Alfredo dish and side salad, just to test the waters before coming back to try some more complicated dishes. Needless to say I’m extremely disappointed with the food I got. The “homemade” Alfredo was full of some kind of thickening agent (I’m assuming flour) and was the texture of what I can only describe as wet ashes (including gritty). My salad seemed good, a bit heavy with the lemon in my dressing but I also am not the biggest lemon fan so that could play into it. The croutons were not great, the inside was too crisp for the amount of butter or oil that was used, so I was basically drinking the butter. For the price I paid I was expecting a bit more quality. I will definitely be making my own pasta dishes from home for now on!

When I first started looking into Tesoro, I read that the service was not great but that the pizza was phenomenal. While I can agree that the service was not what a lifetime of traditional restaurants had led me to expect, it was perfect for somebody who prefers to receive his food and be left alone. The rolls which were served before the meal were delicious and the pizza left nothing to be desired. My friend, who got a pasta dish, also left without complaint. All in all, an experience that deserves repeating!
