Visiting family in Woodstock always includes frequent walks with a stop at Starbucks and The Square. Awesome and friendly staff, even at the most hectic, busy times!

I love this Starbucks and go there daily but u have to share this so that they can better their service and not continue to make the same mistakes. I’m spite of the experience I’m about to share I’d first like to say I have an always will continue to get my daily coffee here and the staff is always exceptionally nice. However today the app has been down all day which made it inconvenient and difficult to pre-order my coffee. When I arrive there I was the only one in the entire coffee shop and I ordered one simple drink. They were training a new employee which I understand and expected it to take a little longer. However this employee clearly needed far more training before she was allowed to make drinks on her own. She looked like she had no idea what she was doing and she made my drink so sore it was unbelievable. And like I said I’m empathetic to people training but I feel like the trainer should’ve stepped in into over because it was taking far too long. By too long I mean it took eight solid minutes to get one drink. Which then made me late to work. I feel like on a day when the system for online ordering is down there should’ve been a little more efficient. As most people are in a hurry when they come in to the coffee shop. I’m just writing this so that maybe in the future this can be addressed. If a training is struggling with something step and take over and then show them the specifics they were making after the customer has left. Not during the customers visit . It just makes me so mad that I had to wait so long for one tall shake and espresso it was painful to watch this poor girl struggle to do that. So maybe you guys can better training system as she was clearly uncomfortable and didn’t know what she was doing.

Great staff! Fast and accurate orders. Went in with a large group of students, and everything was fantastic!

A good corner, hometown Starbucks which town locals, regulars, and visitors enjoy alike. Located adjacent to the historic Woodstock Square and landmark opera house, this coffee shop will serve as a good warm up spot amidst winter activities in this county seat town. Grab an espresso and stroll the beautiful sites of this uncommonly charming mainstreet US town.

When the 1993 movie Groundhog Day was filmed in Woodstock, Starbucks was not yet on the square. So I guess we can narrow the date of its appearance to sometime between 1993 and 2000.
Have you mentioned this employees behavior to their manager? Posting on google isn't going to help at all.
