There are 2 parts to this. First, I went and ordered food for my family. During the ordering, the computers crashed. The gal behind the counter wrote out my order on paper and made sure it was correct. She was very apologetic and sincere. Her manager packed my order and I told them all how much I appreciated them in still serving me and doing so well. Part 2: when I got back to my motel with the large order I discovered I did not get the chicken nuggets I ordered for the kids. I took the receipt and drove back to the store to down them the error, which, with the confusion of the computers being down, I said I understand. The manager was not polite to me and actually became very defensive insisting that she specifically recalled putting my nuggets in the bag under the fries I ordered. I then showed her that I didn't even order fries on the receipt. She almost lost it. She accused me of pulling a stunt to get free food. This was my first experience at Popeyes. I know I should judge a franchise by one rude and insulting manager, but I am not sure I will go to another. But let me add, the chicken I ordered was delicious.

Placed a mobile order during Saturday rush hour. My food was ready by the time I got to the window. Young lady who took care of me was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and hot. Excellent service and consistent! I will always praise my local Popeyes.

Minimum 10 minute wait all of the 10+ times I've come here, with orders placed ahead, even when its slow... Usually 15+ minute wait. I don't know how they are so slow. I keep trying to give them another chance abd regret it every time. The Popeyes in Crystal Lake is always reliable, like 2-5 minute wait even when its busy.

Went in to order and only one employee had a face mask on but it was bunched under his chin. Yet there is a sign asking everyone else to be a hero and wear a mask. Hwy 47 Woodstock If employees are fully vaccinated, inform the public. If not, enforce your mask mandate. Delta variant is still heavily prevalent in McHenry Country and food service should be wearing masks. Our company requires masks now regardless of vaccination status. Let’s protect the customers.
