I have always found everyone at Falmouth Town Hall to really be wonderful. Look, the nature of their jobs is such that they're often in a position where someone will be unhappy potentially when speaking with them, and very often that's why people are there. However, No matter what the situation, I have found that if you treat them respectfully they bend over backwards to try their best to help. A couple names I know off hand are Wendy who helps with vehicles, and Patrice and Craig in who work with building permits and such. As a realtor I often have to call that department to get additional information for my clients, and Patrice is always responsive and pleasant. Those are just the names I know, but everyone there really does their best. Proud to be a resident of Falmouth, and have such a great staff working at the town hall. Thank you all!

Very friendly and helpful. We have many business registrations to do and some are very complicated and the ladies here are always helpful and help us figure it out. As to the person who said they don't accept debit or credit cards, this is not true. There is a fee though.

Yes, open Monday-Thursday. You may also be able to re-registered online at https://www.falmouthme.org/

What do I do with an unwanted refrigerator? Thanks.

If your refrigerator still works, it is possible that organizations like the Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Habitat for Humanity might take it. NOTE: The bargain barn at the Transfer Station is closed until further notice, so this is not currently an option. The fridge can also NOT be picked up curbside by Pine Tree Waste. A Falmouth resident can dispose of a refrigerator at the transfer station with a 2020 resident sticker (available at Town Hall or Public Works office, cost $5.00. You will also need 2 disposal tickets if your fridge is over 35 pounds. Cost per ticket $5.00. Available at Town Hall, Public Works, Shaw’s, Hannaford, Town Landing Market, and Waldo’s. Riverside Recycling in Portland is another option, and there are private disposal companies that will arrange for a one-time bulk pickup for a fee. Stores that sell fridges will sometimes dispose of an old fridge for a small fee when they delivered the new one. Hope that helps!

Are there PO Boxes available for rent at this location? We're moving to Portland from Bangor but this seems to be the closest Post Office. Thanks.

Hi Daniel: There are no PO Boxes at Town Hall. The Falmouth Post Office is located Shaw's Supermarkets, which does have PO Boxes. I recommend you check directly with Shaw's. Thank you.
