We stopped to eat here after we had a family outing. The restaurant had very little air conditioning so it was a bit stifling. The food was good and we had an very attentive waiter. We would have rated it 5 stars but we would have like to eat in a cooler atmosphere. The fried ice cream was delicious and big enough for several people to share.

Eating here was a spur of the moment decision. We happened to find a parking spot about a block away and just stumbled across the restaurant. Mexican food always sounds good to me, so we went in to eat. We had a table outside on a beautiful day. The waitress was friendly and attentive. In fact the service was great. However, the awesome service did not make up for the mediocre food and ridiculously high prices. Galena is a tourist trap that we just happened to be driving through, so I guess the high prices should not have been a surprise. We shared an order of chicken fajitas ang purchased a plate of rice and beans so we could each have our own. We thought about getting the guacamole appetizer, but since it was $13 for a small bowl, we changed our minds. Good thing. We got guacamole with the fajitas and it was horrible. It was sour like they had mixed in lemon juice an d vinegar. We could barely taste the avocado. The fajitas were okay, they could have included more onion and it would have been nice if they seasoned the chicken. So, great service, nice atmosphere, but we have no reason to return.

Fabulous little joint. Went there twice in 2 days on a trip to Galena. Food was delicious and fresh. The staff was wonderful and genuinely friendly. Atmosphere was comfortable and lively. We will totally be back. Thanks so much!

Great Mexican restaurant with a great rooftop patio. We were seated right away. Rooftop service was simple and quick. We placed our orders online and received them very fast. Food was delicious. Drinks were too. Service was great. Do visit!
