We stopped in just for the bread pudding and were not disappointed. I had a tap beer and the wife just had water but the bar tender was attentive and helpful even while covering the dining room. Will be back for a full meal next time. Great ambiance in this little place.

First time dining here and I was not disappointed. The cocktail menu is full of fun cocktails and the menu covers everything you would want from a sandwich place. BBQ chicken sandwich was delicious and the root beer float martini was as well. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Galena.

Couple I knew from Ohio (by way of N.C.) were in Dubuque for the Canine competition. Drove then over to Galina to see the Hullva Half Mile and around 5p we decided to stay for a quick dinner. After seeing the Specials on the walk we went in. Cozy vibe. There's a bar and seating for dining. Ms Helen grew and now mostly resides near the OBX in NC. She ordered the seafood special (looked like a chowder to me, I remembered hearing shrimp and crab) and her husband had the Embre Cream of Mushroom soup. Corn beef brisket for myself. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Ms Helen, having had seafood her whole life was pleasantly surprised at how good the seafood was there.

Came here for dinner, the food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. I ordered an Embe Sandwich and a side salad, and my friend got Seafood Chowder. The food seemed fresh and tasted pretty good! The menu had a few vegetarian options. The service here was really good too!
