We had a very mixed experience here. Our waitress was very slow and seemed confused about our order. She didn't turn in our order until about 20 minutes after we placed it. Others at the restaurant were very helpful and helped get our food to us. Still, it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The homemade baked potato soup was excellent and my fried chicken was very good. My wife was not impressed with her salad. We'd probably try the place again but were disappointed on this first visit.

Great homemade food. The potato soup was incredible. I had the pot roast sandwich and my wife had a brisket sandwich. Would definitely eat here again.

We went here for the first time and was not let down. The waitress was wonderful and super friendly! They were pretty busy so it took 40 minutes to get our food. Once it came, we were not disappointed. We were all satisfied with our food.

Stumbled upon this place while traveling through and so glad I was hungry. Portioning was spot on. Sides are served family style. I had the turkey pot roast sandwich and it was a nice hunk of turkey with homemade mashed potatoes and fantastic gravy. I took a piece of carrot cake home with me and you can see how big it was. Will make a stop again when I am this direction. This also have a little area with country goods and a John Wayne section.
