I've been trying to pay my bill online and it shows in red after taking all of my personal information, to phone their toll free number, when i do that ( thats supposedly available 24/7), it takes my account number says thabk you and then the automated dumby voice says "good-bye". Its so infuriating! I've emailed them to share my frustration and they suggest i phone their toll free number. Are you kidding me?? And those who voted against allowing Canada to give them a little competition to keep their prices lowered are now happy?? Well those of ilus who luve normal lives and do not appreciate this now conglomerate who jacks up our prices on a whim and are never available when a citizen tries to pay their bill or even just call to inquire about their usage. Hope they're happy now!!

They have a literal Monopoly (even using other sources for power, being the people who bring the power to your home, you pay them). They know this, so abuse it. From appalling customer service to a harassing and over-zealous billing Dept...ugh. Literally officially the worst utility company in the country. And for a reason.

Truly an awful company, the way they handle everything is so unprofessional for such a large company. Always raising prices out of pettiness. Cmp isn’t for the state of Maine.

Smart Meter- to remove the dangerous smart meter outside of my window that has caused me health problems due to the high EMF output that they very well know is dangerous to health, they are charging me $40 for the swap and an additional $15 a month surcharge. I also have to do their work for them and take a photo of my usage every month to send in otherwise my bill will be based on “estimated” usage not actual usage. Between this, their constant blackouts that take too long to repair and the push for the energy corridor, I have not one pleasant thing to say about this company.

I am only contracted to do the landscape for cmp I have no say over the charges
99% of customers will be fully Restored no later then Saturday the 4th if not sooner, due to the Line workers untiring diligence were down to only 260,000 people without power from 406,000
This current event is an extended outage, at this time there hasnt been any restoration times updated, possibly plan to relocate to a place with power until there's an updated time that services will be restored at your location
