We always take our fur babies here because they are always treated with the best care! I’m very happy that one individual has the option to go back with their animal now instead of just curbside. It helps alleviate the anxious pet owner in me.

We have been going to Bellalago V.H. for about 10 years. We kept going through the valet service period during Covid. Although it wasn't optimal, they were doing the best they could and we appreciated it. Just recently they changed to allowing one pet parent go in with their pet. So much nicer. I'm so glad they can start this regular service again, but if you want, they can still do curbside. I am always happy with the level of service. I have seen some bad comments and can't understand them Some of them are from pet parents who have lost their fur baby, so I think some of that carries over into reviews. Also, some are concerned with prices for services. It's expensive everywhere, and not every one can afford extensive services, so when you have to choose between your pet's health and feeding the family, I know terrible choices have to be made. But that's not the fault of the vet. We are totally happy with B.V.H., even after the loss of their cherished owner, Dr. Christa Young. Sincerely hope they continue their services, as vets who will take an appointment as few. Good luck to them all!

I’m so grateful that they were able to accommodate me on a last minute appointment with my new fur baby Jungle. I was on vacation and got my lil guy spur of the moment and needed to make sure he was healthy. After reading some reviews I must say I was a little apprehensive about bringing Jungle. Thank goodness I didn’t let that discourage me. From the moment I booked his appointment with Melissa to the moment he left I was beyond impressed by the professionalism of all the staff that I had the pleasure of speaking / coming in contact with. Dr Gifford called me to inform me of my lil guy’s health I was very pleased that I didn’t feel rushed and she was warm and patient. Dr. Gifford answered my many questions. There were no surprises with my bill and everything was explained and itemized. Jungle came home with a clean bill of health and I’m definitely going to bring him back whenever he needs the best and most professional veterinary care. Thanks for reaching above and beyond my expectations.

I took my dog Leia to Bellalago Veterinary Hospital and chose a vet plan for her thinking that it was convenient because it’s close. She had spay surgery as recommended by her vet. Unfortunately, because they did not do the procedure properly, my dog was bleeding to the point she almost passed away. Keep in mind that my dog does not have any bleeding disorders. The attempted to charge me hundreds of dollars for an intensive recovery due to their mistake. I took her again recently for a follow up visit and they told me the benefits of her vet plan would not be covered on her visit because she was a “sick” dog and not a “well” dog. My dog was completely healthy before she walked in, so it took me by surprise so I asked why and they asked me for $238 extra to tell me why. I asked to speak to “Jim” the manager and Melissa who were extremely rude, treated me with an unnecessary aggressive attitude, did not let me speak, retained my drivers license and card for 2 hours and made payment of a service they did not provide. I went to another Veterinary who called them for the medical records release and they said on a RECORDED CALL that they do not have them. This place does not care about your dog’s health, they care about your money. The new vet I went to, unlike this clinic who refused to give me her results, gave me in paper the results of the exams they did on my dog as it should be.
