First time there today for my girlfriend's birthday. We had a red flight and a white flight, and a delicious cheese and cracker platter for a very reasonable price. Excellent view, service, and delicious wine.

This may seem strange, but Lumos' weakness is actually its red wine. In my opinion it is very easy drinking, but perhaps a little bit too simple, almost like someone has scooped out the flavor profile mid-section. Their white wines are the reason I give them a high rating — You could find yourself very readily drinking the entire bottle. Other strengths include its tasting room (they provide complimentary cheese, olives, meats with crackers) and beautiful surroundings. I am a member and will continue to be into the future, I really like visiting this spot.

Just north of the US20-OR223 Jct, follow the blue signs, and you’ll find an unassuming drive way leading to what appears to be a farm. It is in fact a rustic country winery. Make a point to be here around the Golden Hour, and you will not be disappointed. The staff is courteous, the owner knowledgeable and willing to satisfy any questions you have about a particular vintage. That is all to say, the wine is good. Not yet fantastic, though it shows promise. My number one compliant is that there is little difference in flavor between their Pino Gris and their Gewürz. Yet, for a charming venue, courteous host, and striking hillside view, you can’t beat it. Did I mention the complimentary cheese?

Beautiful views and the tasting fee was $10. The wine was very good, too!

Absolutely Barbara. We do have our own boards available but do invite people to bring their own. Cheers! PK
Hi Evanne. We have cheese boards available for purchase. They offer a selection of cheeses, salami, olives, etc. You are welcome to bring your own snacks! We always encourage people to bring a picnic. We have guests in the cabin so I think you will be in the barn or on the lawns somewhere. Cheers! ~ PK
Hi Kim. We don't currently do Zoom tasting parties. I'm not quite sure what that would look like. We are open on weekends from noon to 6 and have plenty of space to safely distance so you can have your own wine tasting party right here. Cheers! PK
