If anyone has seen my reviews they would know I am a positive person and always looks for positive things to say. It was very hard to find positive things about this stay unfortunately. It smells of stale smoke even though it is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. There was a lightbulb burned out in the bedside lamp and I asked twice for a replacement bulb which I never received. The sample shampoo bottle was half empty making me think they were not new. Fortunately I use my own shampoo and conditioner. There were metal braces of some kind sticking out about 4" from the side of the bed making a dangerous tripping Hazzard. Picture below. I will have to say I can't recommend this hotel.

After staying several nights at another hotel (where I have diamond status) where I was rudely rushed out the door at 1115 am (even carrying my luggage) I called to see if I could get an early check-in around noon. They were happy to have a room available as soon as I arrived. The lobby is beautiful and the staff have gone above and beyond. Management is regularly interacting with guests and eager to please. The hotel is dated but it definitely has potential. There's a restaurant/bar in the hotel that offers room service. Nice size indoor pool and fitness room. Beds are amazingly soft. Rooms have nice furniture however the windows need replaced in the several areas. The bathroom is dated but the shower has great water pressure and shower head. Hotel rates are reasonable before considering the on-site restaurant bar and pool. There was a baseball tournament in town which led to many of the hotels in the city to increase rates to absurd amounts. However this hotel was $20-$30 cheaper than hotels that aren't half as accommodating. The staff, charm, and location has blown away the competition! Keep doing what you're doing and it will be a gem! Thank you for your hospitality! I will definitely be back 😀

I do not recommend staying here. It seems like this place was once very nice, but now there appear to be some “permanent residents” who were skulking around wherever we went in the hotel. Also while the place claimed “non smoking” it reeked of cigarette smoke. Down the hall from our room smelled so bad I gagged when I walked there. Also there seemed to be signs of electrical damage on the walls, as well as possible mold in bathroom. The room itself was clean enough and smelled nice, but I did find a bug on the wall, and my friend said the bathroom was not very clean when she went in there and she wiped it down before using it. As well, we were hoping to use the pool while we were there but it was closed for cleaning, we asked the night manager when it would open, and she said “about a week”, but when we came in the morning the pool was open. My friend said that someone in the lobby was talking about “getting shot up” there, so I’m not sure what was happening there… On the positive side. The morning manager was much more friendly, she was probably the nicest part of our stay. If you do stay here, I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a day to be honest.

Attended an event 2/5. The food was 45 minutes late, the potatoes were undercooked and very hard. Bartenders were nice, but constantly AWOL trying to resupply. Dozens of Hotel guests loitering in the Lobby from start to finish like they lived there? Roaches in the bathroom was the last straw. Been here many times in the past and it was nice, not sure what's changed.
