This is not a public park. It is beside an elementary school and is on the property of CMS. There is no shade. So with that said I was told to leave when my little friend and I were there having a picnic.

Hidden gem in South Charlotte...great place for nature walks with the family. Dog friendly. No bikes. Plenty of parking and close to lunch spots nearby. It can be a little muddy after steady rains, but still passable. Pro tip — bring your binos to spot the birds and butterflies and frogs. Very relaxing and accessible.

Parking is tough on Saturdays during soccer season. On the plus side there are portable bathrooms and a playground.

These are great soccer fields. Nicely maintained, great goals and perfect lighting. The fields are marked with large markers and there is plenty of parking at Polo Ridge school.
