When it comes to eating in a chain breakfast place, I prefer Cracker Barrel. During Highway driving eating in Cracker Barrel is my safest bet. The food is always fresh and good. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. The cute goodie shop is excellent. This time while I was driving back from Ohio, I was passing through KY, and made a stop here for breakfast. As always, the restaurant was packed, although we didn’t have to wait. We got the table. They treated us with some freshly baked biscuits as complementary. The biscuits were terrific- with butter/ jam. I got myself the mama’s pancake breakfast and my mom ordered some egg sandwich. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The pancakes were great. I was thinking to order a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, however the server said that the juice was not freshly prepared. I was surprised. I remember drinking fresh juice in Cracker Barrel previously!! Did they change the policy? The server lady was nice at face, although never put any attention to us. She never asked back if we need anything. She served us water with ice, while we asked for water with NO ice. Still we didn’t say a word. She never checked back to our table while eating. I called her for a togo box, and she just came back to give that. I will never describe this as a good service. However I gave a generous tip, which probably she didn’t deserve.

Had not paid a visit here in over 2 years. Don't know why I waited so long. Food and service still great. Love the breakfast options here!

Took the ladies out for Mother Day Dinner party of 5 30 minute wait. Cracker Barrel is always busy. Staff and Servers were good. The girls ordered the maple bacon chicken and country steak and kids pancakes I had the sirloin steak. The salads were great. My steak and sweet potato was good. The Lyncoln had the pancakes couldn’t cut them with a knife :( the maple bacon chicken shouldn’t even been brought out. It was burnt a steak knife wouldn’t even cut it. We asked the server for another by the time everyone else was done it was brought out and only half of a chicken was brought out but , at least you could eat it. Totally not satisfied. We have had breakfast here and was busy but never had a bad meal at breakfast.

Each time I visit a Cracker Barrel restaurant I am immediately feel like I have gone back in time to when things are slow pace & easy going. I love that CB has this homey feel atmosphere inside. I love the fireplace & the gift shop area. Its one of my favorite places to eat. I also love the new Maple Bacon Chicken entree😍 it has become my new favorite!!

There is a lot by Shoneys across street for buses and RVs
Yes But call in advance to ensure they can accommodate that large of s group
Typical for the time: masks, spacing diners by skipping tables.
I don't know if they are open now, bit you could order plates
Hi, Gary - Please refer to our Thanksgiving page for more information or to order ahead: https://www.crackerbarrel.com/Explore/Thanksgiving.
They are not open Christmas day
Typically based on weight so they would have to provide the exact cost.
Sides are big enough that a child could easily eat one or two. Mac and cheese, carrots, etc.
