To say this was disappointing was an understatement. We ordered two calamari appetizers and they were rubbery and not good at all. Our waiter never even came to check how the food was or if we needed anything else and why would he? There is an automatic 20 percent gratuity included in the bill. I have no problem tipping 20 percent or more, servers work hard in general. But not this one. When we told him the calamari wasn't good he said "sorry" didn't seem surprised and did nothing. Of note the tuna poke bowl was good, however soured by the entire experience. 78$ for three appetizers. First time there. Never again.

Horrible. We went here for Valentine's Day and really wished we had not. It was a multi-course prix-fixe where every course was just as bad as the next. I sent back my first course, which was tuna crudo on edamame. The 3-day old slimy raw tuna was unappetizingly thrown on top of the flavorless crudo. I could not choke it down. I was afraid to get food poisoning from the raw fish so I sent it back and go the calamari instead. The calamari was soggy and chewy. It also had a thick unappetizing sauce on it. Everything in this restaurant is sauced in an attempt to cover up that everything is frozen and flavorless. I had the miso glazed salmon for my entree. So you would think that perhaps the salmon was cooked in some type of sauce. Oh no, the flavorless frozen salmon was brushed with some equally flavorless "glaze". It supposedly came with "asian veggies" which were non existent and the rice was, I believe, one of those Uncle Ben's microwave pouches. My companion ordered the Chicken Oscar which was a frozen breaded chicken breast deep fried with some canned "crab meat" thrown on top and yesterday's hollandaise sauce on top of that. For dessert my companion had, what BHR calls creme brulee, which was vanilla pudding with a crunchy sugar crust and I had the chocolate mousse, which was also frozen and went uneaten. We did not get a bread basket. We did not have anything on the table like a candle of vase or a place setting. We were seated in the back overflow room, where my seat was a broken kitchen chair, even though the main dining area was 1/4 full. The cost of this frozen feast and top-notch ambiance was $200! This tab did include one drink or each of us (2 people). The drinks were pretty good. BHR conveniently adds 20% gratuity which I despise but in this case our server Matt was good and the only saving grace to our abysmal Valentine's dinner. My first time eating. here and my last. I only write this review so that other's are not out $200 and leave starving (and potentially food poisoning). If you want to spend that kind of $$ there are other places like Cellaio Steak House nearby. A little farther west is Riverside Cafe, which is exceptional. All of the food is FRESH and while not "cheap" it is always a delightful experience.

Messenger says it all. Service was amazing! Food was out of this world! Really friendly staff! My only wish would have been an ice cold Yeungling lager but we made due with chilled Patron! 😉Thank you so much for the wonderful review Charlie!

Went there with high expectations because of friends experiences. Not only mess up my steak but put a rush on my next one to make up for it and it wasn't good at all. $250 dinner and I felt like I could've had the same experience at Texas Roadhouse for 1/3 of the price. 2 stars because the staff is very friendly and tried to make it better but it just left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun Intended)We are so sorry you didn't have a 5 star experience Will. We would love to opportunity to make it up to you. Please come back and we will do everything in our power to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience.

Can you get a order to go at Bernie

I didn't see any signs that would indicate so. It is a sit down restaurant and so I am inclined to believe that the answer is no.
