I was looking for the New Age/Metaphysical book section. They had a very large selection. I have heard nothing but good things from friends here. If you are looking for a particular book just call them & they said if they have it, they will mail it to you.. of course you will pay the postage as expected in any store. Very congenial & ready to answer questions.

I want to make it clear that I loved this store. I was a loyal customer who both sold and bought books here for years. I loved the breadth of their selection, their cozy interior, and their display shelves. However, a couple months ago, I came in to buy some books but I brought my diary in my tote bag so I could journal at a nearby cafe afterwards. While I was browsing, the staff saw the outline of the diary in my bag and were swift to accuse me of stealing from them in front of the whole store. I’m disappointed in the staff for humiliating me in public. This was one of my favorite places in Eugene, but I won’t be coming back here anymore.

Looking for Shakespeare I said to the lady on my way in... Her eyes came back with the most intense blue ever I seen, the bookstore came to life in this magical place full of words, books and papers sleeping in hard covers waiting for a foe to come and adopt them and embrace them in their arms so they can tell what is inside them. Beautiful place... I would go there every day. Thanks for helping and recommending much about William Shakespeare and the Ashland, OR festival 🎎.

Great book store!! Huge selection. Cool historic building. They have an upstairs section. Very friendly helpful customer service and they will hold books up to two weeks to come back to buy.

Yes, usually... I have done this a number of times before with positive results. They have a computerized system that maintains their inventory.
Yes
Yes, they have manga and other graphic novels
They have a sign by the register saying no returns
Closed on Sundays
I believe that the Google posting is correct
About the same as elsewhere. There are signs exhorting mask-wearing and social distancing. The patrons wear masks and keep distance about as well as anywhere (which is to say not everyone keeps distance). Additionally, the sign at the entrance asks customers to limit their stay in the bookstore. The employee desks have transparent guards.
Yes
I saw a sign saying the campus location is no longer buying books.
There is a kids section of books with lots of picture books, if that's what you are wondering about.
There is a perception out there that these questions are answered by the actual business. They are answered by Google Guides and must should pertain to the nature of the business only.
Yes they do! You might have more luck selling textbooks at the campus location, however.
They do. The Willamette location has a pile by the front door they are constantly processing.
10 - 6 everyday, closed Sun.
Usually until 4 or 5. I think it's Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but I could be wrong.
They have word and changing buying hours that also carry by location and season, just call and ask.
They have very specific book buying hours in my experience that are not always daily. Best to call ahead.
I think you should probably take the book in and find out.
