We have been to Crab Catchers while on vacation a few times. What is cool about this place is that they will cook your catch after deep sea fishing, be sure to have it cleaned prior to arrival. Delicious food! We love Crab Catchers!

REASON TO MAKE THIS A FAVORITE: Their fried oysters and fried scallops were up there with the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten seafood all my life and all over the country. It was was actually our second time to Crab Catchers. I’ve tried their fried scallops, fried oysters, French fries, haddock, and mahi-mahi, and they were all great, and as mentioned above the oysters and scallops were elite! I also had the “little neck clams”, which were not actually real little neck clams, which was actually even what the server admitted. They were tiny little clams with no “necks” at all. My advice is to take “little neck” off the menu as that’s not actually the specie of clam being served. Other than that, everything was amazing. It’s a perfect location. It’s right on the inter coastal with a huge deck dock, surrounded by boats, and a great atmosphere that’s casual and kid friendly. Our kids loved watching all the boats, so it’s great to have something that distracts them when they finish eating 1.5 minutes after the food shows up.

A nice little waterfront seafood place. The food was great! We had several appetizers (hush puppies, chicken tenders, blue crab bites, gumbo, and alligator) that were all tasty. Several of us split seafood platters and they were delicious! 👍🏻👍🏻 And the crab legs were so good! All the portions were ample. I wish I had made more pics, but we were devouring the food…. maybe that speaks for itself! We also got a tour of the kitchen and found it to be very clean. We got to interact with all of the staff and everyone was so kind, attentive, and friendly. It was a memorable Mother’s Day dinner! =)

This was a great end to weekend. Finally had my calabash style seafood because of the seasoning and light breading haddock dinner with slaw Mac and cheese and corn and hush puppy. Absolutely delicious. The max and cheese surprised me with how sharp and creamy it was. Most definitely be back didn’t disappoint. Also love outdoor seating option at river minus the gnats

Yes, especially with a larger group of six or more, unless you don't mind a bit of a wait. During the summer months and during the dinner rush, its probably best to call ahead and try to reserve a time no matter how many are in your party.
they have multiple kinds of crabs...Meyleh is the best bartender ever..she will take care of you..all the food is good. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Lol
Yes
Mary Heglar.... all the locals and tourists love it... I’ve taken many friends here and they loved it... I don’t know what you had but if you didn’t like it suit yourself... If you don’t appreciate their food and all the hard work they put into their job then you simply don’t have to eat here!
They do sell shea crab soup however they only make it on Friday so if you go on Saturday they might have it but Sunday - Thursday they do not usually have Shea crab soup
