Walked in at 1:48. Sat down to look at menu to get a quick take out order. The two guys behind the counter looked at me funny. Then one of them said we are about to close. So I left, and set outside for 10 minutes just to see when they would turn off the open sign. At two the sign was still on. So I went to Hardee's and when I rode back by at 2:16 the open sign was still on. My point is, if your sign says open, you should be open and not turn customers away. I've been there once before around the same time and they served me. Anyways, I won't be back.

This place is absolutely incredible. It is a little hole in the wall that packs a punch. The inside of this restaurant is too cool, it used to be a old movie theater. The food is delicious and very affordable. The staff was the nicest people you could ask for, and the owner is a sweet lady!

If you are looking for real "Southern" cooking, this is the place to go. We stopped by on our way back from North Myrtle Beach. We had the Sunday buffet. While the buffet has a relatively small selection, everything we had was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken reminded me of the fried chicken my Mother made when I was a child. Extra crispy and cooked perfectly. My wife had a serving of the chicken and dumplings. I knew they were good when with her first bite she went, mmmm. She said they were some of the best she's ever had. I told Mr. Donald, when I checked out, the chicken reminded me of my Mom's, and he said he heard that often. There was a huge selection of desserts, all handmade from scratch. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you stop by and enjoy some authentic Southern cooking.
