Sidney Pro Build has, quite possibly, the worst customer service I've ever experienced on a consistent basis. The staff are consistently rude if you're not buying >$1000 worth of material. On multiple occasions I've stood in line, only to have a regular customer come in and get served in front of me. Their products are marked up 50% or greater over what you could get in Billings or Bismarck. They're even marked up over Williston prices. I suppose having a local monopoly makes life nice. Their hours are just as bad as their prices. They close at 5:00 PM. Well, in theory they close at 5:00 PM. I've pulled into the parking lot at 4:56, tried to open the door, only to find it locked. The staff inside gave me a look that said, "you should have gotten here earlier!" Recently while checking out (sometimes there's no other option but to shop there, unfortunately), I asked the staff if they would consider changing their hours so I don't have to leave work early to get there before closing time. I was essentially laughed off. "That's not going to happen," is what I was told point blank. Like I mentioned, I suppose that having a local monopoly allows you to treat your customers like garbage and get away with it, but whenever I need the things that Pro Build sells, I try my best to shop out of town.
