OK seriously impressed. Well laid out, varied, and interesting all around. A highlight was the working beehive. Kids loved the interactive exhibits and especially the olden town play area in the basement. And friendly helpful staff to boot. Thanks soo much, it was a great escape for the family on a hot summer day!

This is a fine museum, thanks to an amazing staff, and the generosity of local donors. There is no financial support from local or state government. It covers the history, economy, and culture of the Yakima Valley, including the original inhabitants, and the Oregon trail immigrants, as well as immigrants from across the Pacific Ocean. The exhibits and collections are up to date. It is very well designed and maintained. It is easy to spend more time here than you think it would take, because the exhibits are so interesting.

This museum was larger than I expected. When my kid is elementary school age, this will be interesting for him. They have not only history of the valley and Washington state area, but also many machines and vehicles of the last 100-150 years that I enjoyed!

Cool place. My wife and I went here for our Valentine's Day weekend. Had lots of fun and took lots of good pictures. The lady up front, I'm sorry about her name escapes me, was very nice and knowledgeable. She found my wife the perfect gift. She enjoys it very much. If you're looking for a fun time on a Saturday, I highly recommend this place.

Not at this time although we hope to start creating those in a year or so. In the meantime, we are making a concerted effort to translate all new or newly renovated exhibits into both languages.

What is the event with the blue balloons and shoes? This appears to be a very unusual and cleverly planned museum and we very much look forward to seeing it in April. Thank you Ann Jamison
