The District Apartments

I can see why everyone is raving about the leasing office staff/management at the District. I have been helped one on one by Tom, Gustavo, Mustafa, and Alex on different occasions, and each and every one of these individuals have gone over and beyond to be helpful in making my move as smooth and easy as possible. They have all been some of the kindest individuals I've worked with for housing and can't thank them enough. I was handed off to Mustafa, a leasing consultant in the office, to work with directly for the past month while I secured my move, moved in, and integrated, and he has been BY FAR the best person I could have asked for to answer all of my questions and quell my worries of living on the trolley side of the building. He's the best! Now, speaking of the trolley side, I have severe insomnia and am an HSP (highly sensitive person) and always have been. I got this unit because I'd rather live next to a trolley than have upstairs neighbors (no other top floor units were available). It was really challenging at first since loud noises really trigger/shock me, and I still find the trolley to be quite intrusive in my day and also loud at night. However, I bought 2 white noise machines on Amazon for $35 each--one for the living room and one for the bedroom--and they have helped dampen the trolley noise significantly. Still intrusive, but they do help so much. As for sleep, I use the white noise machine, earplugs, and Bose noise-cancelling headphones with sleep music and white noise playing--this combo has made it so that I can't hear the trolley's loud beeps in the morning. All this to say, it does take work to make living on the trolley side work as an HSP and insomniac. Loud freight trains going by after trolley hours have apparently been a recent but infrequent occurrence, so hopefully it stays infrequent and occasional. Other than the trolley noise situation, I have to say I haven't heard a single neighbor on either side of me in my day-to-day. I wanted to mention this since I saw some reviewers say their next door neighbors are loud. I can't speak to upstairs neighbors, though. The one-bedroom unit I live in is beautiful and spacious, and despite the quirks that others mention about the elevators, those quirks are made up for by the amazing staff in the leasing office who I know cares and has my back while I live in this complex. I am going on my second year of living here and I absolutely love it. Gustavo and Sandy are so professional at their job and has helped me with my initial application and just assisted me with a unit transfer into a bigger floorplan. Everyone else in office is super nice as well, even the cleaning porters. Top key points that make me enjoy living here is the amenities. We love the pool and the two story GYM. Very luxury living and they host monthly resident events. 10/10

We just moved in, but the staff here has made our move so much smoother!! Gustavo is the best!! He went above and beyond and is on top of every detail. Ricardo helped me the very first day, noticing me as a new resident in such a large complex and I appreciated his help. This place has everything you could want in a place to live and more!! We are so happy to have found The District!!

I was apartment hunting and came across this complex, decided to give it a shot. The gentleman that assisted us by the name of Gustavo was very professional and charming. I can honestly say he sold me the place. He made my tour really comfortable and was supper dedicated and a patient individual. I looked no further and he made the process very smooth and stress free for my girlfriend and i. I am really looking forward to living here and excited for the extra amenities. If your looking for a higher end apartment definitely worth taking look for yourself.
