A failure to communicate in a library that's a quiet as a dead mouse (which normally I'd like). But is communication ALL that a library is about? Btw, G. Cole fines, and their crosstown (city main branch!) serving La Costa erases those fines. Beware of patrons and employees.

Beautiful library with a vast selection of books and other reading materials. Computers are always available to the public. Video games and DVDs are also rentable.

When you are in the online catalog, toward the top you will see a bar that has options such at "Log In" or "My Account." One of those options is "Purchase Request." Fill out that form to suggest purchase of a book. If you are using a device and are listening or getting eAudiobooks or eBooks with "OverDrive," you can request them to get access through that app as well.
Mail ballot drop-off begins Oct. 29. Operating hours for the Dove and Cole libraries are: Mon. - Thurs. from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Fri. - Sat. from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sun. from 1-5 p.m. Operating hours are also listed on the library's website at http://www.carlsbadca.gov/services/depts/library/about/locations.asp.

Yes! The Friends Bookstore opened after renovations were completed at the Georgina Cole Library in early 2016.
You renew PlayAways just like books. You can go online into your account and do it or come into library with your card. You might be able to call circulation and ask them to do it. You can only renew twice and only if you owe library less than $25 in fines.

Not that I know of. The current library cards have a picture of the Flower Fields on them.
