CBC is not the same church as it was when Barry Minkow was here. All semblances of him have disappeared. We are one of only two churches in San Diego County who have elected to have our finances certified by the Christian organization who does auditing. Better than that, the pastor we have now is extraordinary. If you've got a hankering for rock music and donuts, this is not the place for you. God's truth is taught here as it isn't taught very many other places around town. I was here for a few years of Barry and I've been here for 7 years of Pastor Scott Lowther. You will not find a better teacher of sound Doctrine in this county! The old Elder board is no more. We have a new Elder board, which is short a few Elders right now because we choose them Biblically. I urge you to listen to a few of his messages on the website. You will see that I know what I'm talking about.
