Easily one of the best bouldering gyms I’ve ever been to! Large mix of routes and difficulties. You definitely don’t run out of problems to try. Very comfy and laid back vibe made me want to chill there all day, plus the owner is very knowledgeable/experienced and is happy to give tips & advice if you ask. Also, you just can’t beat being outside in the fresh air. The one week trial pass for first timers is super affordable and is less than a day pass at some of the other local gyms, so definitely come check this place out!

Top notch boulder problems in the great outdoors! Jordan (the owner) has a background in high-level competition, both as an athlete and coach, and obviously knew what he was doing in offering a full range of training options. He was my kids’ favorite coach when they were youth climbers and guided my older son to four national competitions and a world championship event. This was my first time experiencing his setting and I’m psyched to say he made even the easy problems interesting. I’m not a big boulderer. I’m nervous climbing without a rope, and often the problems in my range (V4 and below) are boring, unless the setting is technical comp-style. I managed to send 8 high quality problems and project a few more. Even though it’s a small space, the quality and frequency of resets makes for an enjoyable experience for all levels of climber, and the gym has all the important training equipment. The atmosphere is upbeat with a backyard-gym-with-friends kind of vibe. Even though the scene is high in youthful energy, I felt comfortable as a middle-aged mom climbing with a mixed group of serious and newer climbers. Everyone was friendly and participants observed safety rules and acted respectfully to other climbers. I felt a sense of positive camaraderie between kids, young adults, and seasoned climbers alike. Finally, I loved the wide variety of music, inclusive of many generations and genres.

My friend (experienced climber) and I (beginner) heard about this outdoor bouldering venue and HAD TO check it out. So glad we did! The place seems small when you look at it, but that is deceiving because it kept us engaged and challenged for over an hour. Some routes we were not able to complete so I hope to go back and finish what we started!! Jordan is a chill person and it was fun to talk to him while we were there. Pros: -Jordan (owner) is so nice and has extensive experience with climbing -there are a variety of routes -there is training equipment/walls available - inexpensive -shoe rentals available - outdoor venue near the highway so you can wave at cars when you get to the top of the wall - VERY cool aesthetics of the climbing gym with a custom design -Jordon’s music selection that plays while you climb👌💯 Cons: -Location. We were staying in the Gaslamp district and walked over and didn’t feel 100% safe so I would recommend an Uber/Lyft or that you bike over to the place - outdoor venue might be a problem if it rained
