I’ve lived here for going on almost five years and for the most part it’s quiet and an okay place to live. I did not give it five stars because there always room for improvement. For the price the apartments would have been better with at least a dish washer in them. The maintenance guy Juan is nice and the residents nice. The laundry rooms are never locked and I’ve seen people off the streets come in to wash and I no longer wash here. I just re-signed my lease because I did not have a choice in moving right now with my health not being good and up went the rent $52 more monthly and $20 for parking now from $15 and that is not cool because people who don’t live here park where residents park and we have a hard time at night getting a spot because of this. What gives? Now , new owners/management has taken over and I’m just waiting to see how this goes but if not to my liking I will move but I will give it a chance. I always hear Michelle is rude but I haven’t had an issue with her so I can’t say why others have expressed that. I work hard and it would sure be nice to see positive change at Heritage without the steep rent.

I love living here! Heritage Park has all the amenities that I like--a swimming pool where I can actually do laps, a clubhouse with the opportunity to make friends, and jigsaw puzzles too. There are mature trees and wandering paths for me to walk my dog. But above all, what I really treasure is how quiet it is here. It is located on East Valley Parkway which is a major thoroughfare in Escondido, but I don't hear traffic since the apartment is so well insulated. It is easy to make new friends here--the people are friendly, and many express how much they like living here too. I also am a big fan of 55+ communities--no little kids running around and making all sorts of noise. For me, being around more mature people is nice. Another plus--no smoking is allowed. I feel very fortunate to have found Heritage Park.

Everyone here at Heritage Park are so friendly and helpful. A lot of people have their pets with them which is nice. Our pets are our babies and they are welcomed here. There are one and two bedrooms to rent very spacious with great floor plans. I love the walk in closets and the bedrooms have a nice big window to let the breeze in! On the patio there's an extra storage space available which is great! There's a pool and a jacuzzi for relaxing with chairs. Very clean. Now what I really love are the central air and heat. I don't do summers well so that's a blessing for me! In the community center there are books n books, a flat screen TV n people enjoy doing puzzles too! Management is wonderful along with maintenance. I've lived here for 11 years and this is my home.

We moved back to SD from wet Washington State. We absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE. It is great for the $, LOCATION, VIEWS, SUPER QUITE!!! The Office Manager Michelle Nelson is very Professional and Friendly. The Maintenance Man Mario always answers request PROMPTLY and never has to return to fix the same thing TWICE! The Grounds is very Clean and Kept up. No trash blowing around or dog droppings. Because this is a Non Smoking Complex you absolutely see no BUTTs around. Both Gas Grills, The Pool and The Jacuzzi are kept up Immaculately. THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER LIVED AT AND HAVE REALLY LOVE IT!!!!
