Playclothes is just the cutest! I spent an afternoon on that part of Magnolia popping in and out of various vintage stores, and this was by far the best one I visited. In fact, this is the only store I purchased from despite having been to 6 other stores earlier in the afternoon. There are stores just down the street trying to sell tattered and dirty vintage clothing for crazy stupid prices. But not Playclothes! They have an AWESOME selection of vintage clothes at fair prices. It's not cheap, but it's also not overpriced. All the clothes are in good, great, or excellent condition. Some stuff had never been worn and still had the tags on - a real rarity with vintage! All decades are represented in their store - even the early 1900s. And all of the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up purchasing 2 pieces I'm really in love with. I highly recommend this store!

Me and my friends know about vintage stores we’re very strict when it comes to giving ratings. When it came to this vintage store I loved it :) They definitely had what I wanted!

Just love this store! It’s packed with clothes, accessories, and tchotchkes from many eras! You need to have a lot of time to browse here. If you’re looking for something particular, just ask one of the two very nice ladies there to direct you to it. Otherwise, they will let you happily browse uninterrupted. The prices are extremely fair. Enjoy!!

I used to come to this store religiously, but I think they’ve fallen quite a bit in my opinion. Their sales associate was quite rude when I went in and while they used to have a lot of the vintage clothes I was interested in, they no longer have the clothes that I am interested in. I used to love the women who worked in here, but it seems that since COVID hit they have changed quite a bit. I’m not sure what happened, but I would say they have about half the amount of clothes they used to. They have a lot of home goods, which are fine, but the title is literally “Playclothes” implying they’d have more clothes than they did. To be honest, if I’m going to get vintage home goods, there are other places I’m going that are far more affordable in price. I’m super disappointed since coming here. Almost any antique store has a better selection than this store. The only difference is they have a (smaller) selection of clothes. I hate to do this, but at this point if you’re looking for vintage clothing I’d definitely recommend hitting up other stores or online stores. They seem to be about the same price but with way more selection. Perhaps if they change their store back to what it used to be I would be happy going here, but as of right now, I’ll definitely avoid it.

I'd like to know that too. Do you buy vintage clothes?
Yes they do!! You may have to ask the staff to bring the merchandise from the back, because many of the pieces are very fragile. 😊
