This place is really great my only reason for four stars is that the hours today they're open till 6 but when I went they were closed and they actually only give out food until 4 I drove about 25 minutes so I'm disappointed just in case anyone is wondering they're only open till 4

They supplement food staples that help get you through the month. They always have something different. I take my neighbor so she can have fresh fruit and bread. Sometimes they have dairy. She is old school and will eat canned meat and packaged foods. Frozen fish sticks and chili in a bag. The volunteers are very helpful and courteous.

My fiance and I have been struggling, we've been paying bills fine but had no groceries. I looked on google and it's reviews and it is the best place! Even referred someone else to go there! Killer! This is definitely my go to spot!!!! Thank you North County Food Bank!!!!! 😁

would you like to do some volunteer work and expect no reward? here's North County Food Bank feeding the hungry and homeless. I've volunteered here and I suggest you do. A place full of good deeds and charity for those seeking. A must Do . I am thinking to go volunteer there again soon.

Call this food bank ask if you need a referral if so how to get one. Google for other food banks in your city and surrounding cities. Ask a church if they know of any organizations that may be able to help. Hang in there.
Of course. It is definitely a great option for long term requirements.
At the food bank we take any kind of can food or food that is non-perishable
Yes but you have to sign up online through the San Diego Food Bank when spots are available. The minimum age is 16 years old.
That's awesome that you want to donate food. I would call NC office and ask. If they're not able to take it, there are a few places in North county that will such as Bread of Life in Oceanside, Vista women's shelter and Escondido Interfaith community service.
Yes, you can do community service hours with them.
Thank you for response.
Just your ID. Because of Covid, they are set up out in the parking lot. You pull up and show your ID, they ask how many in your household and they tell you to pop your trunk. They all put boxes and bags in your trunk as you drive through. You can go once every 2 weeks. Very fresh food and a great assortment.
A car, your mask and maybe and ID and if you are carpooling boths of you need to have different address. Besides that they haven't ask me for anything alse.
