My bf and I went to this amazing Mexican place- I had the BLT quesadilla- which was perfect- obviously bacon lettuce and tomatoes, with some cheese and chipotle mayo. I loved it so much Don’t remember what my bf had but it was really good too. The horchata was good, very nice and welcoming service. The atmosphere was great too

Amazing food and great service! Was part of a large party here and the staff did an awesome job with our table. Food was great and since it was Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour, the prices were too! Enjoyed several different street tacos and mango margaritas.

I love the vibe of this place, inside seating was tropical themed and stuff. Outside seating was much prettier in my opinion, it’s got a heater per table and tropical decor all over. The food was obviously beyond delicious. Do try their chicken enchiladas one with green sauce and another with the tangy red sauce, also their queso dip was my favorite. For drinks, try the mai tai(you can never go wrong with mai tai), steer clear of the original margarita if you do not like too much sweetness in your drinks( their margarita was unusually sweeter than in other places) Fun place to hangout with friends, I recommend this place for tourists and locals alike!

Just had an excellent lunch at Baja Betty's on University Ave. Food was delicious. The best Mexican fare in San Diego thus far. The Avocado Salsa was really tasty and unusual. There is lots of nice space outside (with heaters and plastic walls if it's chilly). Our wait staff was Saul D. and he was terrific. Very attentive. We highly recommend eating at Baja Betty's.
