Greasy over stuffed with watery beans. Each costing 6.97.... Overpriced "pupusas" .. it should not even bee called that ! I don't know what that was.... Gave us an upset stomach and the runs!! Lesson learned find a true Central America restaurant for the taste your looking for. Horrible way to spend $30.00! Hope this helps the next..

I had not been to Ortega s in years ! Used to live in ocean beach recently moved back to San Diego. There was a language miscommunication last night and I was not feeling well enough to fix it before leaving I ordered chili rellono with beans and rice and just wanted regular basket chips with a small queso dip. I got charged 11.95 for the chips and dip which I don t even see listed on the menu. It all came to me together so it was not really an appetizer. Not happy about the expense. It was not busy. It was St Patrick s day do I thought I d treat myself. Did not want to pay this much with only drinking water. The food is good but communication bad. Took the queso and chips home. Bottom overdone in a small iron skillet. Waste of money to reheat and use. Disappointed

Best Mexican place in the area! I ordered a michelada and got a huge drink. The enchiladas are amazing. Portions are big for reasonable price. Delicious and I highly recommend. The wait for my food wasn’t long at all and the waitress was nice to keep checking in on me throughout my meal

Couldn't finish my plate. It was delicious. Sat on the patio and had Bloody Marys. The omlette was huge. The pork chops were amazing. Definitely coming back.
