This store is very friendly. I go there to buy their hot food. It's pretty fresh and reasonably priced

Locally owned and operated, prices are very high for "normal" things, cheese ,milk, bread. Though they have a good butcher and their meat prices are better than large chain stores. Good service yet still very rural market and mindset.

Nice enough store, its clean, staff are friendly but way over priced. Its the only grocery store in sheridan. Better off driving to Dallas and shop at Safeway, its cheaper

Always great meat and good meat prices but pretty much the rest of the store is really expensive. I only saw 1 variety of refrigerated salsa and the selection of bagged salad is slim at best. The employees are always super polite and friendly. A customer in front of the store, talking to employees, was bragging about a bar fight she was in and it made me a bit standoffish.

I have never known the checkout line to take 5 minutes. That is based on random visits though, not any real attempt at data gathering.
They sell earbuds sometimes. Phone cords and chargers are more common
Yes they do
Think of it this way. Sheridan select is a basic store with fried chicken
Yes of course!
This is not a direct line to the market, this is a place to ask questions which will be answered by members of the community. Your "question" would be better as a review. To answer your question as best as I can... Prices here are in line with most rural "supermarkets". They are not as cheap as Winco, but the nearest Winco is in McMinnville, which has a much larger population. Given the smaller population, stock does not turn over as quickly which allows for expired food. Mold would happen for similar reasons. Having said that I have not seen moldy expired food on the shelves here, but I don't do most of my shopping here. I have also purchased expired food, off of the shelf, accidentally, in Portland at Safeway. Perhaps you should take whatever you bought back and conplain.
Okay thank you for your help.
