I brought in a pair of wedges explaining that I had only paid $40 for them and that I was only interested in repairing the shoes if the cost would be less than what they cost new. I was charged $60 for new soles and glue. The repair broke the first time I wore them and the sole isn’t flat. There is a small bump in the middle of the ball of the left foot so I am unsteady when I wear the shoes. I had also brought in a pair of leather sandals at the same time. I asked if it would be possible to have them back for a vacation in three weeks. The owner insisted that that wouldn’t be a problem , the repair was small. He told me to come back for them in two weeks. I came back on the agreed upon day (a Saturday - we were leaving for vacation on Wednesday morning) and he couldn’t even find my shoes. After a while he found them and explained that his machine that he needed to use to fix them had broken. He said he could use another colleagues machine on Monday morning and he would call me on Monday afternoon to pick them up. No call on Monday. I called and left messages on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning before leaving. I didn’t get my shoes until the week after my vacation and as it is, he only glued a patch on the shoes, didn’t even sew the leather using the machine he said he needed. The whole experience was stressful and frustrating and ended up wasting a lot of my time and money.

There’s something seriously wrong with the owner - nobody in their right mind would have the “dare to” & guts to speak (bark, really…) to a customer the way he did, while weaving my boots over his head. HOSTILE. Rude. Disrespectful. Unprofessional. Angry. An individual with no boundaries. He scared my young child and left me in shock. He lies with a straight face, will put words in your mouth, will make up some nonsense stories when insulting you. A nightmare. . . Mental illness is a serious thing. This person needs help. He should not be working with people. He needs anger management lesson & mental evaluation.

Horrible mean old man who destroyed my shoes AND yelled at me when I asked to see the progress after two months. Plus he is rude, lost my shoes and screamed in my face. He should NOT be in business at all. Calling better business bureau!

This place does good work and he really appreciates quality shoes. However, do not bring work in here if you are in a hurry. Allow at least two-three weeks to get your shoes back even if they tell you a week. The work is worth the price especially on good shoes but the pickup surprises can be inconvenient.
