This is the best Indian place in the valley. Nobody else is anywhere near as fresh and has such good flavors and great service. I don't know why anybody would ever go anywhere else for Indian food. The curries are delightful with plenty of heat and the breads and the sauces and everything else are just fantastic.

More than a ZERO stars to this place. This is my first time coming to this place just to pick up an order for someone since I am currently a dasher. I waited more than 10 minutes to pick up the order, as well as another dasher was there, and we both decided to call on the phone since there was literally no one to assist. As the worker answered (I guess is the owner) was extremely rude when he answered. After that he brought the order and said "that was disrespectful calling on the phone." Myself handling in a professional manner and also being respectful I asked him " how was it disrespectful if the other dasher and I waited more than 10 minutes to pick up the order and no one assisted us." After that the owner would try to get near me and I thought that he was gonna do something because his expression was like those types of people that wants to beat someone up. I was feeling very uncomfortable. He was not professional at all. I wish he could at least apologize for the delay. This so-called "best Indian restaurant in Utah." Maybe they should grant an award for "The worst Indian restaurant in Utah." due to the lack of customer service. Reading the reviews does not even surprise me at all.

I decided never to return to India Palace about 10 years ago when the owner would not accept a valid coupon. Unfortunately, a family member chose this restaurant for their birthday dinner last night and we ended up going again. It was busy for a Friday night, which is what we expected. When we were seated, it was mentioned to the staff that we were celebrating a birthday. This was never acknowledged by any of them. We ordered three dishes, two appetizers, and water. We never received our water the entire time we were there. The appetizers were served cold and we were not given plates when the first appetizer was brought to the table. The kitchen staff was rude when they came to our table, slamming down plates and pulling mint and tamarind chutney from the table next to us. The main dishes were served cold. The rice seemed like plain Calrose rice with no seasoning whatsoever. The entire restaurant is decorated with Best of Utah awards. Doesn't seem to make sense when there are plenty of other restaurants in the same price range that have much better food, much better service, and much better decor. I wonder if anyone who has left a five star has been to any other Indian restaurant in their lifetime.

Their chicken tikka masala was good but the garlic naan was a bit greasy. With Bombay House being down the street, I don’t see myself coming back here but also don’t have terrible things to say either. Just feel like there is better out there
