Lestat - died 5/25. I am working through the grief, but thankful for Chrissy Ponsness, DVM for her time to answer my questions. Unfortunately my cat ate string. He was given many tests initially to determine what was wrong but it was not found for a week after his initial screening (a different vet at the emergency hours who was the initial person to provide care was told he eats string & Lestat obviously did not improve on the Medicine prescription for UTI). He might not have survived had it been diagnosed correctly however, the amount of time it took to find the problem/and the amount of time he suffered, is hard for me. I do not want to give a negative review however I would be cautious.

We had to put two geriatric cats down in less than a year, and they were so kind and compassionate each time. We even got sympathy cards from them, with hand-written notes from the vets who saw our cats. In addition, everything was spotless, smelled clean, and the office staff was helpful and pleasant. Every vet and vet tech we encountered there was warm yet professional. When we're ready to have pets again, they will definitely be our vet clinic.

I have been very impressed with the staff and doctors at this clinic. My pets seem more relaxed and interact with everyone in the clinic well compared to other clinics I’ve tried. They return calls quickly and I feel involved and informed about my pets care. I highly recommend this clinic.

In the area there is currently a 3 week- 1 month waiting period to get seen by a non-emergency vet. I had gone down the google list of vet offices in my area and Pend Oreille was the ONLY one that could get my puppy in. They squeezed me in for an appointment the next morning, and though it was a drive, it was worth it for my puppy. That staff were friendly and caring. This was the best experience with a vet clinic I’ve ever had. Thank you!

Dr. Grace does, she is a local large animal vet
We do recommend the Emergency Veterinary Hospital of Coeur D' Alene as our after hours emergency solution as we do not have an on-call service. We are open M-F from 7:30am-7pm and Sat-Sun 8am-5pm.
I believe so, I've been there a few times, but a phone call will answer your questions
I would call and tell them.your situation and they can advise you from there.
Thank you all for helping answer this. Yes we do see rabbits, these appointments do need to be scheduled with certain doctors though. Please call us to discuss (208-263-2145) and we can set up an appointment. Thank you!
