Wow a place that gets donated everything can't fund the amount needed to help clothe homeless, even though everything is given to them. Guess Spokane gonna just have a bunch of stinky homeless

One of Spokane's finest Charities that makes huge pacts on the lives of those dealing with hardship. Staff is amazing, caring, well trained and love helping others.

Tried going to the food bank today. Was told by a very rude woman with pink hair that I couldn't even fill out an application because the wait was too long and told me to come back another day. I made special arrangements to get there today as my car broke down. This is the first time I've ever needed and asked for help. I won't make that mistake again.

The staff is wonderful. The man in the back helped me load the chair. He wasn't comfortable with the ties I had, so he went back inside to get more secure ties. After tying it down, he said, now I feel comfortable. Above and Beyond. Thank you for caring!

Hello need sheltrr
Call them and they will tell you the process or if you have to go to other agencies
On Indiana East of Ruby 222 E Indiana Ave.
Possibly the only way to know for sure is to call and ask them
I've never called here, but just keep pressing 9 until someone answers. That is what I generally do when I need to make calls.
Your id and a recent piece of mail.
Well will see
There are many salvation army stores. Make the rounds. Some managers might give you a discount if you spend enough money. Nice furniture goes fast. Goodwill has great stuff in Spokane.
Volunteers of America. They used to do this. Cash benefits are from the Washington State Dept of Transportation. Spokane Transit is the best low cost transportation.
Let's let's pray
Just go in to the food bank and speak with front desk and they will help you sign up
Call main office. Talk to Opal
If not they can direct you to a place that can.
Tired? If I may ask... have you asked Jesus to help you at this moment? You can always try, be specific he is always here for us all.
Do you wish to volunteer or stay at the shelter? Here is a link to sign up to volunteer https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://spokane.salvationarmy.org/spokane_citadel/volunteer-with-us/%23:~:text%3DThe%2520Salvation%2520Army%2520has%2520opportunities,events%252C%2520to%2520many%2520other%2520things.&ved=2ahUKEwj-2--NgvvrAhWkJjQIHa2VBvcQFjABegQIDRAF&usg=AOvVaw2CVg7fSZmGKEZ1MndWbbKT
Yes they have a food bank. And can help with clothing vouchers. They can help.
If not, then check out Union Gospel Mission. I believe Salvation Army focuses on families
Not sure different hours different days call they will inform you.
No one should be selling used mattresses! There is the risk of bed bugs and who knows what else. If they do sell mattresses they would be new in plastic!
Yes they don't close for lunch
They do have a one time use Food Bank. You just need proof of residence like a piece of mail with your name and pic ID.
Shortly after I moved in the staff member I had been working with, had me fill out a checklist of what I needed and purchased it for me and brought it to my house/apartment.
The desk staff are rude and act like we're making them go out of their way to help us when they are supposed to help us. That's what they are getting paid for. There are a lot of agencies that act that way and to be honest I think they all need to be sent to customer service training so that they can be retrained how to deal with the public. They need to remember that everyone goes through hard times and it doesn't matter who you are. It's hard enough for people to ask for help, but when you get treated badly or are made to feel like you're worthless, then no one will ask for help and that's when really bad things happen to people. They give up. It shouldn't be that way.
Food is distributed M-F 9am- 4pm. Need ID for all adults and must have a piece of mail with your address.
This organization that I know of. Contact Catholic charities and see what they can do for you are you in Spokane Washington where are you located
I believe house of charity also provides verification.
I.D, a piece of mail, may want to have birth certificate and social security cards for everyone you're getting food for, they only allow 5 family members per trip, which is once a month. But, they are very helpful, and you get some good food.
