Amazing place. Steam up was very cool! We're down here for the swap meet. The scale train museum was really cool. Come check us out at the rock Booth

All the children were having a great time. There were things to build , trains to ride, stuff to do. The cost was $6 a vehicle. That was the only cost unless you bought food from one of the 2 food booths. The Independence Elks has a food booth there. They had breakfast and then lunch. It was very tasty

I love coming to this place. I have been coming here for the better part of ten years and have never been disappointed. The great Oregon SteamUp is typically the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August each year but this year they did the last two weekends of July. There's something here for everyone. For those who enjoy a mechanical engineering, seeing the designs and operation of equipment from a century ago and beyond is worthwhile. For the kids there's the model railroad that they can ride on and enjoy going on it over and over and over again. Or the misting stations were the kids can get wet. Oh and don't forget the ice cream and the snow cones and the food and the great people. There are also a variety of Raffles and other events. We have won a raffle a couple of times over the years. There is a kid's tractor pull, there's an adult Tractor Pull and there is a Passport program where kids can go from venu to venue learning about different things on the property all while collecting little badges and pins and then get entered into a raffle of their own for participating. You can camp here in the tent or an RV and the price at $15 for an adult is very reasonable to be able to spend the whole day here. We look forward to coming back next year and enjoying all the other activities and events they hold here throughout the year including birthday parties.

My family went to the Steam Up at the Powerland Heritage Park last weekend. It was really interesting looking at all the steam powered vehicles and old technology. The miniature trains were my favorite part though. The train ride was so much fun for the kids and adults (though the seat was a bit small for me). You could tell that it wasn't just a "ride." There was some major love and care put into the train models and building models along the tracks.

There is a car museum.
They ask for a donation
Admission fee varies. Normally when the park is open during the summer, it is $6 per person, children under 12 are free. During special events it is higher. $15 for the Great Oregon Steam Up. $10 for the Truck Show. $22 for Hops and Vines. There are multiple other events throughout the year, and each sets their own admission fee, so check the calendar before you go.
I've taken out dog with us every year with no problem... as long as they are behaved
I think parking outside on the property is free but there is a walk in fee and museums are donations only and not required
What if you dont have one but just use a cane. Which means you can't go far
